Blackwitch Farms of China, Michigan was founded in 1969 by me, Carol Beagle.  Originally we were a small boarding and grooming kennel.  My first Miniature Schnauzer was one that I had regularly groomed. 

Shortly after founding Blackwitch Farms, the original owner decided that a Schnauzer mix didn't match her new home.  The house she had moved to was on a river and she felt she needed a water dog and had picked up a Golden Retriever.  She then convinced me to take her little Schnauzer mix, and what a wonderful gift that little dog was.  Asta Rue was the funniest little dog, and she lived with me for the next 11 years.

This began my love affair for the Miniature Schnauzers!

All dog breeders are NOT alike!  My goal as a dog breeder is to produce beautiful Miniature Schnauzers that are not only nice to look at but also make great pets.  Temperament and disposition are also key here.

Not all dog breeders are alike, but this recipe has worked for me as a dedicated breeder of quality Miniature Schnauzers.  I currently have 60 champions and 7 top producers and many more waiting their turn.
